Hi, I'm Jason Mayr

I finished matric with 92% for maths and went on to study computer science and animation before finding my real passion in helping students understand and enjoy mathematics.

With eight years of tutoring experience across grades 7 to 10, I've worked with students at every level. Whether you're struggling with the basics or pushing for a distinction, I tailor every lesson to where you're at.

My approach is simple: find the gaps, build real understanding, and make it fun along the way.

I tutor grades 7 through 10, covering the full CAPS and IEB curriculum including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, financial maths, probability, functions, sequences, number systems, and shape properties.
We connect via Google Meet at your booked time. For new students, I start by testing for gaps and weaknesses. I provide custom notes targeting these areas, and we work through problems together until you genuinely understand.
A device with internet (laptop, tablet, or phone), something to write with, and your textbook or worksheets. That's it.
After booking, your invoice is generated instantly with EFT payment details. Once payment is confirmed within 24 hours, your lesson is locked in. No card details are ever entered on this site.
Absolutely. Send photos of your work via WhatsApp anytime and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. This is included at no extra charge.
Let me know at least 24 hours in advance via WhatsApp and we will reschedule at no cost. Weekly and twice-weekly students can reschedule sick days flexibly.
